We designed our range of unique metal wine signs to add a stylish accent to your wine room or kitchen. These gorgeous signs are new to our range and come in three different designs. We hope they will appeal to anyone with an interest in wine, food and interior design. The four designs are ‘Wine Cellar’ (available in two colourways), ‘Tasting Room’, ‘Bordeaux’ and ‘Premier Cru’. The colour palate we use evokes the vineyards of France. First, there is claret, which is self-explanatory and secondly green for the white grapes and then the deep blue of French road signs.
These signs are really easy to hang. You can fix your sign in a variety of different ways using the two holes drilled in the top of the plate. You could either hang it or nail it up. The signs are light, all are less than 250g so you also have the option of mounting your signs using sticky mounts.
Bordeaux and Tasting Rooms signs are the same size, 53cm x 12cm. The Premier Cru and Wine Cellar signs are slightly smaller at 31cm x 15cm
These signs are new to us and we plan to create more wine decor designs in the future. If you have ideas for something wine-related you would like on a sign do contact us and we will see if we can add it to our range.
Who creates our Signs
Jepson’s, who create these signs for us, is the oldest number plate manufacturer in the UK. A family run business they are now in the fourth generation of Jepson family ownership. It is exciting to be working with their team to create our range of unique metal wine signs. Each sign is made by hand in six-part process which takes about four hours. First is the pressing of the raw aluminium and then the metal is cleaned and soaked to prepare it for painting. After applying the base coat, which is the digit colour baking of the sign begins. It takes 30 minutes on racks in a 125°c oven. Then comes the second, background colour and after that application of a thinner exposing the digits. Finally, a final bake for 30 minutes and then our signs are ready.
